In just the few days since this has become clear, as the word has got around, Greg and Pauline have received so many messages of support and concern that we have decided to re-start the blog to enable us to keep everyone up to date on how Pauline is going and to allow family and friends to leave messages for her.
Pauline has probably known better than any of us that neither of these treatments could safeguard her future, but she has pursued all options and has looked fantastically on top of things. However, given the nature of this recent recurrence, Pauline has accepted that further treatment would not be effective and is unlikely to to offer any relief.
Pauline is already quite weak, and tires easily, so it is with much sadness that we reluctantly request that her many dear friends please call before visiting to ensure she isn't exhausted on any given day. She truly does know that she is loved and that each of us wants to help in whatever way possible.
Any messages left on the blog will be read by or to Pauline, and if at all possible she will make some posts. Please note that if anyone has difficulty negotiating the blog or would prefer to send a more private message they can email Pauline at scott.pauline@optusnet.com.au
It is already clear that my sister is going to travel the next leg of this journey with infinite grace; supported by Greg, Bridget and Danny and surrounded by our love. She will make it as easy for all of us as she possibly can.
Pauline's sister, Aunty Rose.

Dear lovely Aunty Rose, Gorgeous Greg and the amazing , beautiful Pauline,
Just read the blog (hate that term) and think thats a great idea to restart.
I have so much to say, (and letter I wrote in Bangkok which has gne missing) but a BLOG isnt the right place... suffice to say, you are in my thoughts constantly every day and PLEASE all of you let me know how, if at all I can be of any help.
I will sit through the night if you wish...(I am awake for half of it anyway). I was wondering if I could read you some of that Mitch Albon book you gave me last year Pauline, "Tuesdays..."..just let me know...
Basketball training update:
Danny ran rings around Walt tonight at training n all counts (pardon the pun)
Danny: calm, good humoured, polite, organised
Walt: grumpy, rude (to me) refusing, disorganised; SHOCKING
the old coach, Peter was there and he commented how much they had both improved and grown up into the game (he must have caught Walt at a brief good moment).
better get to bed.
I will call and would love to see you briefly if up to it tomorrow
love Anna

Dear Pauline, Greg, Bridget Danny and Rose,
We send our love and prayers to you. Georgie in particular wants to give Didge all the support that she can and we will help in whatever way you need. Georgie has suggested that I offer to coach on Saturdays when Greg needs a break. I am more than happy to do so (if he thinks the team can handle it!)
Pauline, you are the most gracious and bravest person I have ever met in my life. thanks for restarting the blog and giving me a way of being more closely in touch. Love Robyn, ( Graeme, Noah and Gigi)
Dear Pauline, greag, Bridget, Danny & Rose,
Thanks for atarting up the blog again, it is a great way for all of us to keep in touch with you.
We are very very sad to hear that you are unwell Pauline. We want to say a very big thank you to you & big buddy Bridget for helping us to settle Ella into school so well this year, you have helped more than you will ever know. I think this is one of the many talents you have Pauline, helping others.
I know you have had many offers of help from family & friends, so please let us add another. if there is anything we can do, no matter how small, or big for that matter, please don't hesitate to pick up the phone and call us, day or night, we are only a couple of minutes away.
I would love to drop in and say Hi one day soon if you are up to it, so will give you a call before hand.
You are all in our thoughts and hearts, with love from your friends,
Lisa, Steve, Ella & Luke x x x x
