On behalf of the APS Parents Association

To our dear Pauline,

I feel as though I am writing on behalf of so many parents and friends that you have at Alphington. Each day so many gather and express their concern and sympathy and want to know how they can help. Your amazing close neighbours have helped us to band together and offer you and your wonderful family assistance.

Pauline, can I thank you so much for creating your blog. Your journey has been one of tremendous strength, courage and fuelled by the enormous love that you have in your heart for your family. Reading it makes us all very sad but at the same time it has a powerful message. You have shown us what are truly the important things in life, things we all have and take so much for granted. Lately I have certainly been putting many things into perspective and I know others who have entered your blog have done the same. Thankyou for expressing yourself so well.

I leave you with our sincerest blessings and our support for you, Greg, Bridget and Danny. Rest assured that we are all here for you and that the support comes with so much love.

Lisa Jacob

On behalf of the “sisterhood” or should I say “parenthood” of which you will always remain a member – the APS Parents Association.

Dear Pauline, Greg Brigit and Danny,
Thank you so much for creating this blog, it allows the hopeless communicators amongst us off the hook.

I have known Pauline in the last couple of years through HR work at Mercy Health but I had heard about Pauline well before I met her through Louise Ajani. Louise had always spoke about Pauline in such glowing terms and I was pleased to find out I would be working with her. When I met Pauline I was struck by two things _ her amazing intelligence and her grace. These two attributes don't always go together but Pauline had somehow managed to combine them. Pauline is one of those people that are a natural role model to others, whether they are older or younger than her. Well she certainly was for me. I person can not have these attributes, intelligence and grace, in such fierce quantities without it rubbing off. And I look at the photo of Pauline and her family on the front of this blog and one is immediately drawn to the eyes of Pauline and her children. Brigit and Dan have had the benefit of Pauline's nurturing in the most important development years of their life and they will always have the benefit of that with them. But they also have the nature that they have inherited which is ingrained in their genes. When I look at Dan and Brigit I see Pauline - what a gift, what a legacy.

With love and many best wishes,

Cecilia Jones

Dear, dear Pauline

What a woman you are to invite us to share these tender moments of your life and your family with us. Thank you for this great privilege. And yet it is no suprise that you would do this, as my experience of you is in your preparedness to face the difficult aspects of life, work and relationships full on. You do not step away. In the way you speak your truth great advantage is afforded those around you.Thank you and your wonderful family for sharing this journey with us.I am so glad you know the love with which you are held..... and also that you are holding firm to your resolve to spend as much time as you can with Greg and your precious little ones.
May the love that surrounds you comfort and uphold you all.
My prayer continues.....
With abundant love and thanks for being you.
